I love to bike around Miramar Lake.  When it’s quiet you can see the birds and hear their chirping.  Moving under my own power with the sounds of nature relaxes me.  For those times when I went to bike around the Miramar Lake or Coronado a vehicle with a trailer hitch is a necessity.  It only takes a few minutes to attach my bike rack to the back of the trailer hitch and attach my bike.  When I bought my Honda Civic and Draw-Tite trailer hitch back in 2006 I found San Diego Trailer Supply and had them install my hitch.  It took less than an hour for them to install it and I have not had any problems in 13 years.

 

After I purchased my 2019 Honda HR-V I ordered a Draw-Tite trailer hitch.  The sales guy was a bit worried the hitch for the 2018 HR-V wouldn’t work as Draw-Tite had not tested on 2019 HR-V but my research indicated Honda didn’t make any undercarriage changes.  I showed up at 8am for the install and they were done before 9am.  Staff was nice and I was impressed by all the trailer accessories they had in their shop.

 

 

 

I put my bike rack on the hitch and it fit perfectly.  It’s nice I can once again take my bike with me anywhere I want to go.  I also blogged about the window tint on my 2019 HR-V.
