Four separate areas are designated as follows; Display garden, Children’s garden, Discovery hike and Fire safe demonstration garden.

 

The Fire safe demonstration garden teaches you how to implement the 100 feet of defensible space required in California to help defend your home from fires. What I really like is the list of fire resistant plants.

The Display garden features five mediterranean climate regions including; California, Central Chile, Capetown South Africa, Western and South Australia and the Mediterranean Sea.

 

The Discovery hike is a mile long showcasing local animals, flowers, volcanoes, and lovely views.
